Advance Reader Copies

Advance Reader copies of Volume One have been available to select dancers for more than a year.

While we've been preparing quietly to make Volume One available, the feedback we have received about the book has been tremendous and very encouraging. [Read some of the feedback]

We created this page since there is now a growing demand for information on the first edition and its release.

This article discusses the advance reader copy and why we're delaying the official release of the first edition of the book until Volume Two is ready.

Advance Reader Copies

We have had a number of inquiries about Volume one, perhaps because the knowledge and technique available in the work is unprecedented.

Due to the surging interest in the book, we are making ARC editions available to those who wish to get the book early (and at a discount, see below).

Advance Reader Copy (ARC) editions are typically made available to those with an early interest in a book or volume. Most AR copies may differ very slightly from the first edition. Normally, these may include rewording of specific passages and last-minute grammar fixes that are made between the AR edition and the official release.

The ARC version of Volume One is currently only available in the United States.

At this time, the Advance Reader Copy (ARC) edition of Master Ballroom Dance Technique, Volume One, is available by special arrangement only. If you are selected to receive a copy, it will be available to you at a discounted price $90.00 plus shipping.

If you are interested in receiving an early copy of Volume One, you may request an ARC edition by submitting an ARC Request form

Volume One and Volume Two

Author Robert Cura decided to release Volume One and Two at the same time. Volume One pertains to Individual Technique. Volume Two is about Partner Technique.

While Volume One is ready for publication, he feels that releasing both Volumes together will give the dancer a more comprehensive set of tools and a better understanding of both concepts that are the focus of the book.

No official date has been established for the first edition of both volumes. Volume One is publication ready. Volume Two is undergoing manuscript editing and graphic design. We anticipate a release date this Winter or early Spring next year.

Online Store Under Development

We are currently building an online store to make limited advance reader copies and reproductions of the book's artwork available for purchase. The store will be linked to this website as soon as it is ready.

The Artwork

We were pleasantly surprised that readers have requested copies of the book's artwork (specifically Volume One). Because of this demand, we are making some of the ballroom-themed artwork (by Robert Cura) available for purchase. These will be available as giclées, posters, cards, and other goodies. You can get these once the online store is open.
